Dryer Vent Locks Out Outside Air & Pests Outside air enters your home through the exposed dryer vent, and that means higher heating bills in winter, higher cooling bills in summer. Our Dryer Vent Closure keeps out that outside air: heated dryer air pushes up the floating shuttle, then escapes from the vent's bottom. When dryer stops, shuttle drops back down, keeping wind, birds, bugs and rodents outside. ABS plastic vent mounts easily over existing 4" vent pipe. Can be painted. Screws included. (Not for flexible pipe.)

Really secure vent on my house, does not let the little mice dry to enter through like other vents can. Easy to clean and maintain. Had one on my previous house, when we purchased our new how, had to get a new vent because the one that was on the house just is not effective.
I would recommend this to a friend!
